Man Angry at Ex-Girlfriend Kills, BBQs her
(AP) HOUSTON Investigators say Timothy Wayne Shepherd, 27, confessed Wednesday to strangling Tynesha Stewart because he was angry she had begun a new relationship. Shepherd, who is charged with murder, isbeing held on $250,000 bond.

"We have determined through this investigation that the defendant dismembered Tynesha Stewart and . . . he burned the body parts," HarrisCounty Sheriff Tommy Thomas said. "There are no remaining body parts."

The announcement Saturday ended a debate in the Houston area about whether law-enforcement officials should launch a massive and expensive search of the area's overflowing landfills in hopes of finding Stewart's remains.

Officials first thought that the body had been disposed in a large commercial trash bin that had since been emptied.

Sheriff'sinvestigators had decided against launching a costly and time-consuming search for Stewart's remains, angering her family and friends. Complaints from activists and lawmakers prompted Thomas to get emergency approval to spend up to $500,000 for a search.

Thomas said he knew, but could not disclose, that there were no body parts to find. He said investigators were unable to release that information to the public or to Stewart's family because of the investigation. Stewart's family has since been advised, and understands why there will be no search, Thomas said.

Stewart, a college freshman from Houston, was last seen with Shepherd on March 15 while she was home forspring break visiting her mother. Friends have said Stewart and Shepherd quit dating at the beginning of this school year.

Shepherd'sattorney, Chip Lewis, has not returned calls for comment. Thomas said Stewart's family has asked for privacy and will not respond to callsfrom the media.

Authorities did not give any more details about how they believe the slaying occurred, but said nothing remains of Stewart. Although human remains generally require extremely high temperatures to destroy, he would not discuss how he believed the bodycould be burned to nothing.

Sources close to Shepherd said they were not surprised that he ended up BBQing Stewart. Evidently, when he called harassing her to give him another chance, he always started out with, "I want my baby back baby back baby back...I want my baby back baby back baby back..."

Supposed pedophile beaten, stabbed, humiliated, drowned--Oopsie, they got the wrong guy

A man with learning disabilities was humiliated, tortured, and then thrown into a river to drown by four neighbours who suspected that he was a paedophile, a murder trial has heard.

The two men and two women, who are sisters, lured "trusting and vulnerable" Sean Miles, 37, to a house where he was beaten and stuck with knives. He was then taken to a different address where he was made to strip and hit with a golf club.

Finally Mr Miles, who has in IQ of just 50, was taken to the Thames in Oxford where he was thrown into the river. He could not swim and his injuries were so severe that he had no chance of saving himself, Oxford Crown Court was told.

Each time he surfaced he was pushed back under with a stick. His body was discovered by a lock keeper 10 days later in May last year.

Edward Doyle, 34; Terry McMasters, 24; Tracey Fathers, 36, and her sister Karen, who all live on the same road in Oxford, deny his murder.

Adrian Redgrave, prosecuting, told the jury it would hear how, when arrested, the defendants would point the finger away from themselves. "Each blames the other and each tells very different stories," he said.

The court heard that Mr Miles, who lived in sheltered housing, was unable to look after himself properly and required regular care.

Karen Fathers, who was trusted as a friend by Mr Miles, had persuaded him to follow her to McMasters's house because one of the four co-accused had come to the conclusion that Mr Miles had interfered with the four-year-old son of one of the women. Mr Redgrave said: "Over the course of the following hours Sean Miles was subjected to insults, indignity and violence that was intensely psychologically humiliating."

Mr Redgrave read from statements which gave contradictory accounts of what had happened and who was responsible.

Tracey Fathers was said to have confided in a fellow prisoner at Bromfield Prison, Middlesex. Mr Redgrave said: "She told a prisoner that the murder she was charged with was pre-planned, that they were going to kill Sean."

Mr Redgrave added: "The case is that they were all criminally involved in the killing of Sean Miles."

Robert Fox, the managing director of the accommodation where Mr Miles lived, described him as "a sweet man, who never did anything to harm anyone.

"Sean was very trusting of everyone and as soon as you talked to him, he believed he had found a friend."

The court heard that Mr Miles had allegedly been bullied by Doyle in the past.

Alright, rant here...so, you think you know who a pedophile is; you have your sickened thoughts about them, your hatred towards their deviant lifestyle. So--you then decide to lure the person in, beat the crap out of him, stab him, strip him, continue to beat him, and then torturously drown him?


Ummm...


Even if this WAS a pedophile, who is the bigger threat here? Vigilance is sometimes worse than the dictatorship....

"Saw" prank by 13-yr old girls leads to stroke
ALGOOD, Tenn. -- Two Franklin County girls are facing charges of allegedly making a prank call that led to a woman suffering a stroke.

Both 13-year old girls live in Winchester.

The girls are accused of leaving a frightening message on the cell phone owned by Algood, Tenn., resident Beverly Dickson."Hello, Beverly. I want to play a game. You need to decide if life is worth living for. We have one of your friends hidden in your house. You must find them within 10 minutes and get the key out of their heart. Get out of your house because there are vents and there is toxic gas that will be fogged out in 10 minutes. It will kill you in half a minute, so you decide, it's your game. Do you want to live or die?" the message said.Police said they were able to trace the cell phone call to Winchester. Police said the two teens made several other calls to friends but that is was the one to Dickson that caused trouble.Police said Dickson was in a funeral procession when she checked the voice message.Dickson was rushed to a hospital after checking the voicemail.“She's doing OK. She's nervous, going back to work. (She has) trouble sleeping (and) waking up at night,” said Dickson’s husband, M.J.Algood Police Chief Jim Eldridge said he hopes this will be a wake-up call to those who are thinking about making harassing phone calls whether they are pranks or not.

Both girls have been charged with phone harassment.

Man sends sexual tapes to jailed loved one--his monkey

A Plano resident allegedly sent his male monkey a sexually explicit audio tape while the animal was in custody at the Living Materials Center (LMC), according to LMC staff.

Darwin, a Rhesus Macaque Monkey, was confiscated by animal services on Feb. 21 after police found illegal animals in owner Bobby Denton Crawford Jr.’s home.

Darwin was released back to Crawford Friday afternoon after being transported from the LMC, where the monkey stayed the past month.

Sherry Smith, a spokesperson for Plano Animal Services, said Darwin was given back to Crawford because he agreed to move out of the city.

“Where he is going to be moving, they don’t prohibit them there,” Smith said. “He is complying with city ordinances by removing Darwin from the city.”

Smith declined to comment on where Crawford had moved to. Crawford made at least three visits to the LMC and a handful of tear-filled phone calls requesting Darwin be returned to his custody, according to Jim Dunlap, curator at the LMC.

On one such visit, Dunlap said Crawford handed him a box of Darwin’s toys. Among those toys was an audio tape player with a recorded message from Crawford addressed to Darwin that was of a sexual nature, Dunlap said.

After listening to the tape, Dunlap said Crawford made references to Darwin and himself engaging in mutual stimulation.

Four animal services officers spent more than an hour Friday trying to coax Darwin into an animal carrier before finally tranquilizing the monkey.

“(Darwin) is very dangerous,” said Amy Early, one of the Plano Animal Services Officers who transported Darwin. “(Rhesus Macaque Monkeys) will go straight for your face and tear into you. They have the strength of six men and inch-and-a-half incisors.”

Crawford showed Dunlap the scars Darwin gave him when he first started making unannounced visits to the LMC two days after the monkey was confiscated, Dunlap said.

LMC staff were instructed to call the police when Crawford made his subsequent visits, Dunlap said.

The decision to return Darwin was not due to public pressure generated by media attention, Smith said.

Dunlap said he received hate mail, threatening e-mails and angry telephone calls from people who said Crawford should be allowed to keep the monkey.

The hazards of keeping a wild animal as a pet are two-fold, according to Dunlap.

“If you buy a wild animal, you are creating two problems,” Dunlap said. “One, it is a wild animal and two, you are making them unafraid of people.”

Man's illuminated nude body not a bright idea

SENDAI, Japan, March 24 (UPI) -- A Japanese court has sentenced a 41-year-old man to a suspended sentence for using a lamp to enhance his indecent exposure at his apartment.

The court found the unemployed man guilty of indecent exposure in the incident, in which he used the bright light to allow onlookers to see his nude body from afar, and sentenced him to a suspended four-month prison term, the Kyodo news agency said.

The man allegedly illuminated himself in the dark of his second-floor apartment in the city of Sendai on Sept. 5, 2006 in order to allow female workers at a nearby restaurant to see of his naked body.

No word yet on whether the illuminated nakedness of Britney Spears will bring any charges to her....Oh wait...I guess that whole Natalie Portman shaving of the head thing may have been enough...At least the drapes match the carpet now, as we all know.

Deadbeat parents now adorning Pizza Boxes
CINCINNATI -- Customers at some suburban Cincinnati pizza parlors are getting something extra with their pepperoni and mushrooms. The Butler County Child Enforcement Agency is working with three pizzerias to add wanted posters of parents accused of skipping out on child support on pizza boxes. The idea came to the agency's director while she was ordering a pizza. She said it suddenly dawned on her that most people running from the law don't eat out, they order pizza. It's just one of the innovative ways agencies are trying to get past-due parents to pay up. In California's Kern County, officials can auction parents' vehicles and give the proceeds to the children. Virginia subpoenas cell-phone records from service providers. Other Ohio counties include similar fliers in water and sewer bills. An attorney who specializes in fathers' rights has criticized the fliers, saying it could hurt children to see their parent on a "wanted-style" poster.

I'm scratching my head over this one...maybe I'm just dense here, but I am failing to see the connection between late night munchies and finding those who don't pay their support bills. I guess it makes as much sense as the FBI Most Wanted lists appearing in post offices, because--hey--we all know that the most keen and vigilant people in the world spend 30 minutes waiting in line to get one stamp.

Michigan man sentenced for sex pact with girlfriend and 12-year old daughter
MUSKEGON, Mich. -- A man who pleaded no contest to entering into a sex pact with his girlfriend and her 15-year-old daughter and to having had sex with a 12-year-old relative was sentenced to up to 25 years in prison.

Michael J. Fitzgibbon, 37, was sentenced Friday to up to 15 years for each of four counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct after prosecutors said he, his girlfriend and her daughter signed a contract allowing the teen to be his sex partner for two months.

He was also sentenced to 12 to 25 years for each of two charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct for having sex with the 12-year-old girl. All six sentences are to be served concurrently.

Fitzgibbon pleaded no contest to the charges last month. A no contest plea is not an admission of guilt but is treated the same way for sentencing purposes.

The case arose after Fitzgibbon's girlfriend, afraid of losing him while she was recuperating from surgery, allegedly arranged for the Fitzgibbon, herself and her daughter to sign a contract in June. In exchange for sex, the 15-year-old testified she was to be paid and receive privileges, such as piercings, hair dyeing and permission to stay overnight with her own boyfriend.

The girlfriend, whose name is not being made public to protect her daughter's identity, has been charged with three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a person 13 to 15 years old and is scheduled to stand trial in April.

A new pact has been signed upon his entrance to prison. For every pack of cigarette, the man will be forced to do unexplicable things to his "owner". I like this pact a lot better.

Authorities investigated after the 15-year-old told a relative in July. The 12-year-old came forward after charges were filed.

Wife's menu includes Kentucky Fried Husband

And what part would this be again?

SAO PAULO, Brazil (Map, News) - A Brazilian housewife was convicted and sentenced to 19 years in prison Friday for killing her husband, chopping his body into small pieces and frying it. Rosanita Nery dos Santos, 52, drugged her husband in his sleep, then stabbed him to death two years ago in Salvador, about 900 miles northeast of Sao Paulo, said police spokesman Idmar Bonfim.

She then hacked Jose Raimundo Soares dos Santos' body into more than 100 pieces, which she boiled and fried before hiding in plastic bags beneath a staircase in her house, Bonfim said. He said police discovered the body parts after receiving an anonymous phone call.

Bonfim said the killing was either part of a black magic ritual or an attempt by the wife to collect life insurance worth about $34,000.

Citing testimony from the woman's relatives, he said she may also have committed the crime "to avenge many years of humiliation from her husband." He did not provide further details.

Santos denied killing her husband but said she chopped up his body, Bonfim said.

"She claims masked assailants entered her house, killed her husband and then forced her to cut up the body and fry it because that would prevent the stench of a decomposing body from alerting neighbors," he said.
